It is obvious that the Feedlot operators do not consider themselves to be restricted by the laws that the rest of society have to abide by.

The usage of B-Double trucks continues to be a danger upon the tourist drive to the Bunya Mountains. This combined with the carting of feedlot waste in an uncovered semi trailer along single lane bitumen roads, throwing bits of their load over cars, along the edge of the road and usually speeding to get i as many loads per day as they can out is not allowed.

The Department of Transport has been notified of these infringements and hopefully the continuing illegal practice will cease.

The public can notify Bunya Watch, Dept of Transport or Police of any activities that they consider to be illegal.

Doesn't it make you wonder why the Nanango Shire Council has no water usage policy within the Shire. The 'heavy usage' industries that they are approving have drastically over burdened an already struggling commodity.

It appears that Nooromba has already pumped its bores dry and is carting water from just outside Maidenwell.

This has now left Coomba Gully bone dry. Sections of the Creek that have never been dry within the last 100 years and were spring fed - are now dust bowls.

It is not just the water under their land they are removing - they are stealing the water from under you and me.

How much longer will this form of abuse to the land continue?
